The 360 website is Common Purpose in action! It serves several functions:

• it's a website dedicated to the Common Purpose 360 Day - an invitation to anyone on 10 October each year to one thing to challenge the way they see the world
• it's a place where you can search for and advertise non-executive vacancies
• it's a hub for leadership development ideas and inspiring stories about social action
• it's also an online resource for Common Purpose participants and alumni that complements the learning on their courses.

About Common Purpose

Common Purpose is an international, not-for-profit organisation that has been running leadership courses which mix people from the private, public and not-for-profit sectors for over 20 years. We also offer a range of customised courses and one-day special events.

We help people, organisations, cities and regions to succeed, by broadening the horizons of their leaders and developing their ability to work together to lead complex change.

We deal with real life issues and insights, so our courses are neither classroom nor lecture based. We go beyond standard leadership models and learn instead from the successes and failures of leaders from all sectors. Participants are taken out of their familiar environment so that they examine why, when and how they lead.

What does the 360 website have to offer?

Take action on the Common Purpose 360 Day: Are you looking beyond the familiar for new ideas? There is very real value in finding learning in unexpected places - you could find a new insight into or solution to a problem you face. The 360 Day is an open invitation on 10 October each year to challenge the way you see the world. It may be something on your own, or with others; something simple or involved; online or face-to-face; local or international. It's up to you.

The 360 website is the place to record the action you're going to take on (or around) the 360 Day, find out what other people will be doing, and share any outcomes or learning from the day.

Non-executive vacancies: Have you ever considered taking up a role as a trustee or board member of a public organisation? Help lead social change while developing yourself.

Searching for a non-executive position? Looking for trustees or other board members at your organisation? Use the 360 website to search for or advertise details of board and other non-executive vacancies.

Take part in a Common Purpose Quest: Have you ever considered going outside the confines of your town, city or region to challenge your approach to problems? Common Purpose Quests are your opportunity to do so! Spend a day immersed in the economic, political and social context of another location (at home or overseas), learning lessons and comparing challenges with leaders from across the world. Gain a unique insight into the leadership culture of another location.
