Some ideas for the 360 Day
Feeling inspired? Then take the first
step...
• Make a new connection. Send an email or pick up the
phone to someone you met recently and have been meaning to follow
up with. Or use a social networking site to connect to someone you
don't know, from an unfamiliar field.
• Walk for 30 minutes from your front door. Take
note of your surroundings as you walk. Is there anything you
noticed or came across that you haven't seen
before?
• Ask 3 people who live outside your
area what their impressions are of it. You may wish to find
out: whether they consider it an asset to the country? whether they
would live there? what they like/dislike?
• Go to a meeting or an event that you, and others who
know you, would consider it unlikely for you to attend. How
did it feel? What did you notice about the meeting? What did you
notice about yourself?
• Meet someone who is actively campaigning or fighting
for a change in your business or community. Find out how it
feels to be in their role. Do they ever take risks? What keeps them
going when they hit obstacles? What are their limits?
• Take yourself out for a cup of coffee/tea, sit for
five minutes and reflect on your personal brand. How do you
define yourself? What are the values, traits , positioning, and
personality that set you apart? Write down how you would define
your brand. How would you sell it to others?
